Alison McLellan was Project Architect for Michael Wilford & Partners on Phase II of the Tate Gallery in Liverpool's Albert Dock.

 

The scheme transformed previously undeveloped areas of the Grade I Listed warehouse, creating a new top floor sculpture gallery and changing exhibition space and improving the teaching and education centre within the adjacent block.

 

Ground floor public facilities were remodeled, creating a double height entrance, new and enlarged bookshop and cafe and more welcoming public face to the gallery.
